The newly integrated ‘Decision
Support and Performance’ service for Oxfordshire came into being
on 1st March 2006, providing a wide range of
information, analysis and clinical audit
services for PCTs and the primary care community
across the county.
The service is created from the
combination of the Public Health Information
Team, the Multi-disciplinary Audit
Advisory Group (MAAG), and the
Oxfordshire PCTs’ Information Department, to
provide a coherent, co-ordinated service that
helps meet the heavy demands for information,
analysis and clinical audit. This will
strengthen support to key areas such as Practice
Based Commissioning, Long Term Conditions and
Urgent Care, Public Health, Service Redesign,
Clinical Governance and Performance Management.
